Brief: documents can be added to section through two methods; the first method is by using the CMS control panel, and the second one is through the section page on the website.
1- Login to the control panel.
2- From modules list, select “Download”,>“Sections” > then “List” as shown below:
3-Press the icon “Add” in front of the section where the content is added to as shown in the below picture:
Enter to documents on the website homepage and choose the section , then press (Add document.
In both cases, the below template will show up:
-User: this option enables to add a name for the user that will publish the document.
-Section: after pressing the section box, a dropdown list includes the documents sections through which you can select the required section.
-Categories: choose a category for the uploaded document, or let it empty.
-Title: is recommended to be short, compatible with the context, includes key words mentioned, and facilitates reaching the document by entering their names in the search bar.
-Content Picture: you can let it empty or choose a flash file.
-Brief: enter a small description about the document to encourage visitors to download it. This description is shown beneath the section title.
-Details: enter more details about the document content to help visitors understand it before uploading.
-Suggested tags: every article has keywords that are used for searching in any browser. Accurate selection of these words helps in SEO and attract more visitors to your website.
Dimofinf V.5 provides you with some key words depending on the title. You can choose from these keywords or enter another ones in the (Tags) box
-File: add here the content you want to publish.
Upload any file with format or extension and the CMS will convert it to version that can be uploaded.
-Content File Url: add here a link to download the file instead of uploading it to the host, which is preferable for the space saving.
-Title: enter the name you want to be displayed instead of the link inside the downloading icon. (you can choose the file name).
Note that when you press (more), you can add other URLs.
-Fields Groups: the features of every file on the website.
You can add more fields groups and choose from them to create the content with its features.
-Editor's Picks: it is an optional box where you can rate you file and it will be visible for visitors.
-Featured: this option enables the content to be displayed in (Featured blocks), after activating it, the unfeatured date will be required.
Note: the block (featured files) firstly on the homepage or internal pages , so the selected files will be displayed.
-Allow Comments (In case comments plugin is activated): by activating comments plugin, you can add different comments plugins valid in Dimofinf store such as (Facebook,Disquss…) all platforms will be shown in the same block highlighting every individual one.
Note: The comments block can be displayed on the internal pages of the module only, not all the website pages.
Firstly: activate (Allow Comments) option while you are creating the ad.
Secondly: follow the below steps if you don’t create comments block yet.
Activate (Default Layout) from the main menu, then press (Adding Block) on the side page. Select (Comments) block and drag it to where you want to be displayed. Mostly, it is displayed beneath the content block.
You can follow up the ad comments by pressing (Follow the Ad Comments), noting that visitors can not access this feature but only members.
A notification will be sent after adding any comment.
You may receive no more notification by pressing the same icon named subsequently ( Unfollow the ad comments).
-Allow pingbacks: This feature helps in SEO as a digital marketing strategy. It consists of a group of external links “backlink” that refers to your website.
-Display On Homepage: in case the file block is displayed on the homepage, this feature allows the file to be displayed on the homepage. As the file will be shown in the most prior block as per the display order.
-Important Downloads: some important file can be pinned in the block (important files) to grasp the visitor’s attention. All you need is to create block in the internal pages or the homepage.
-Status: This option is used to set the content status whether to be; “published or waiting approval”. So that, to display the content, choose “published”.
-Publishing date: it is used to manage the content date that is shown on the website.
Press (Submit) to add article, or (Reset) to re enter the data.
