Brief: this feature allows you to adjust the module settings of its sections, and managing its blocks. 

To login to download module settings: 

1- Login to control panel.

2- From the side list, select “Settings”, then “plugins Settings” as shown in the below picture: 

3- Another list will show up, select “Download Settings” as the below picture: 

The page of general settings will show up: 

The first three options allows you to select the download sections that will be shown in the list and blocks of the website content. 

-Sections Links To Display On The Left Menu: set the download sections that will be displayed in the side list. The download section will not be shown in the side list if you don’t select sections. 

-Sections To Display In Downloads Sections Block: The block of (Download Sections) displays files existed in module whether they are included in internal pages or the homepage.Select section you want to display in this block. 

-Sections Contents To Include In The "New Downloads" Block: this block adds the most recent files to sections that you select. 

-Number of Sections To Display In Each Row On Homepage:  if you have the block (Download Section) on the homepage, you are allowed to manage how to display section in the block. 

In addition, you can set the number of displayed sections in every row

-Total number of Contents To Display From Each Section On Homepage: you can manage the number of contents that are displayed in each selected section depending on the previous step. The effect of this feature will be clear if the option (Display Sections only) is displayed. 

-Total Number Of Contents To Display In Each Row On Homepage: you can set the number of displayed contents in every row on homepage. The effect of this feature will be clear if the option (Display Sections only) is displayed. 

-Total Number Of Contents To Display In Each Row In: set the number of contents to be displayed in each row on the sections’ pages, which depends on the categories feature as well. 

-Display Sections Only: Press (yes) if you want to display sections without content. 

-Number of Sections To Display In Each Row: you can set the number of displayed sections in every row of the internal pages.  

-Number of Sections To Display On Each Page In Modules: set the number of displayed sections in every page. If there are 10 sections and you set 5 section for each page, so you will have 2 pages for sections. A numbered list of pages shows up beneath the sections.

-Number of Contents To Display On Each Page: set the number of files to be displayed on every section page. 

For example, if you have 100 files for every section, and you want to show 20 ones in every page, so that you will have 50 pages in this section. A numbered list of pages will be shown as numbered pages beneath the contents.  

-Maximum Section Image Width & Height:  is used to set the maximum width and height of sections pictures. 

It is recommended to be less than 150 for the picture quality. 

-Total Number Of Contents To Display In The "Downloads" Block: set the number of displayed contents on the internal pages. This feature is very useful when you have a large number of files and you need to limit the number of published ones. 

-Total Number Of Contents To Display In The "New Downloads", "Featured Downloads" , &  "Important Downloads" Blocks: allows you to manage the number of content displayed in all the module blocks. 

This feature is very useful incase there are a large number of contents and you want to manage the number of published ones depending on the website design and style. 

 -Maximum allowed Size for uploaded attachments:  to manage the size of uploaded file while you are creating a content.

-Maximum number of uploaded files per time: set the allowed number of uploaded files per time. 

-Maximum number of links for uploaded files per time: set the allowed number of uploading links added to content  per time. 

-Maximum Content File Size In Megabytes: set the maximum size of uploaded file during the content creation. 

-Maximum Image Dimensions: the uploaded picture will be automatically set as the entered dimensions. It is preferably to set the dimensions of the uploaded images in case you have a large number of images and limited space. 

-Maximum Image Thumb Width & Height: (Thumbnail images) if little size of the original pictures that you upload to the website, those little images are displayed on the website pages except for the content page for the website speed. You may set the maximum width and height of the thumbnail images noting that the ideal size is 75.

-"Updated" Icon maximum days: while creating: after creating the block (updated), the CMS will display all the updated files in this block in order to grasp the visitors’ attention to these updates. 

Use this feature to set the duration of any update to be displayed in this block. 

-Activate "Broken Link" Reports: this feature is very useful if any link is not working or an error message appears to the visitors during any file downloading process. It can be used as well if visitors want to report any content that is inappropriate to be published. 

-Broken Link Notifications: allow this feature if you want to receive Broken Link Notifications an email notifying you of any broken link. 

-Broken link Notification Email: enter the used email address to receive notification via it. 

-Sections Sorting Order In Modules: set the order you want to display sections by selecting one of the methods existed in the dropdown list. 

-Contents Sorting Order: set the order you want to display contents by selecting one of the methods existed in the dropdown list. 

-Apply Previous Sorting Order To Homepage: activate this feature to apply the previous blocks settings to existed one on the homepage.

Don’t activate this feature if you want to display the homepage blocks differently. 

-Activate Ticker: it allows the recent adsto be displayed automatically.

-Allowed Ticker Areas: set the allowed locations to show the ticker; whether to be shown only on the internal pages, homepage, or all the pages.

-Display Module Statistics: the (Statistics Block) is a main one that is not belonged to a certain module and  can be added to any page.  

This block shows the number of contents of every mosule and the date of the recent added content. 

-Meta Keywords: enter meta keywords that fit the download module, to be included in every content published on the website pages. 

Use this feature if you want to add meta keywords to all the module contents that has no previous meta keywords before being published. 

-Module Short URL: short URLs  help in reaching the website pages easily by adding a keyword beside the domain. For example, if you want to refer to the articles module pages, enter (files) in this field as shown below: 

Note: every short URL has to be used once, and does not include numbers or arabic alphabet.  

-Downloads module order in the Modules Menu: set the module order on the website modules list.

-Downloads Module Blocks Loading Order: this feature provides a priority for a block you want to be ordered firstly. For example, any new files will be added to both (Download Sections) and (New Files) block, so you can select where the files will be published firstly. 

Press (Edit Setting) to save. 

-Files Displaying Method: to display the blocks of the module, press the icon (List) in the header, activate default layout, then press (Add Block), use (Filtration or searching feature to display files blocks only), then drag the block to set it desired location.
