Adding Content

 

Brief: you can articles add articles using two methods, the first one is by using CMS control panel, and the second is from the section page that is shown to the website visitors. 

Firstly: 

1- Login to Cpanel: 

2- From Modules list, select (Blog), then (List Sections) as shown in the below picture: 

 

3- Press (Add) in front of the required section as shown below: 

Secondly: 

1- Press the blog on the website homepage, select the section you want to add the blog to as shown below: 

2- Press ( Add Blog) as below: 

The Below template will show up: 

 

Important Note: The template field are shown upon the user’s permissions. 

-User: this option enables to add a name for the user that will publish the blog. 

-Section: select a section in which the blog will be added. 

Note: the user has a permission only to edit some section that he is permitted to. For more details, have a look on (Modules Section, User management, or members' Groups) in Dimofinf knowledgebase

-Title: is recommended to be short, compatible with the context, and includes key words mentioned in the article. 

-Subheading: it is an optional feature through which you can add a hint about the blog content to encourage him to read it. 

-Brief: writing a brief empowers any content, make sure to write a brief that is an overview about the full content. 

-Content: the blog content that you want to convey to the reader. 

The “Brief” and “Content”  fields have  (BBcode Editor) and (Wydiwyg Editor), that you can set one of them by pressing its icon. 

Enable or disable  (BBcode Editor) and (Wydiwyg Editor) and their features from (Dimofinf Settings). 

The editor includes various tools that facilitates writing process and adding multimedia. 

-Suggested tags: every article has keywords that are used for searching in any browser. Accurate selection of these words helps in SEO and attract more visitors to your website. 

Dimofinf V.5 provides you with some key words depending on the title. You can choose from these keywords or enter another ones in the (Tags) box.

-Picture: Picture attracts the attention of the reader and helps him to diverse the the topic overview. You can add the picture by dragging and dropping it in the box or upload it from the device. 

Dimofinf V.5 allows you to select multiple picture taking in consideration the picture dimensions and the order based on the displaying priority through dragging and dropping after being uploaded. 

-Allow Comments (In case comments plugin is activated): to allow the website visitors to make a comment on the article, activate comments plugin. You can add different comments plugin valid in Dimofinf store such as (Facebook,Disquss…) all platforms will be shown in the same block highlighting every individual one. 

This option is shown only if it is activated to be shown in the blog using the comments plugin settings. -

Note: The comments block can be displayed on the internal pages of the blog module only, not all the website pages. 

Firstly: activate the option ( Allow Comment) during creating the blog. 

Secondly: follow the next steps in case you do not create comments block: 

Activate (Default Layout) from the main menu, then press (Adding Block) on the side page. Select (Comments) block and drag it to where you want to be displayed. Mostly, it is displayed beneath the content block.

This location can be edited at any time by dragging it to the new one. 

-Allow pingbacks: This feature helps in SEO as a digital marketing strategy. It consists of a group of external links “backlink” that refers to your website. For example, if a link that refers to a page  of your website is included in any article published on other websites, this article will be recorded on your server. It is preferably to activate this feature for all content. 

-Displaying in the Main Page: If the main pages includes article block, it allows displaying the articles on the main page. This block may be (The recent articles) or (Articles sections), in this case, the article will be displayed inside the most prior block as per as (Articles Module Settings). 

Firstly: activate this feature during creating or editing this content. 

Secondly: follow the next steps in case you do not create the blog block on the homepage: 

Choose (Activate Default Layout) from the upper list on the homepage, then (Add Block) from the page side, and press (Blog) from the dropdown list. After that, select a block to display the blog such as (Blogs sections) or (Recent Blogs), and it to the location where you want it to be published. 

This location can be edited at any time by dragging it to the new one, noting that blogs that do not have this feature , will not be shown on the homepage. 

-Important Blogs: if the blog is an important one that you want to highlight, activate this feature, so that you can add the block ( Important Blogs) on the homepage or any page of the website. 

Follow the below steps in case you do not create the block (Important Blogs) .

Go to the page where you want to display the important blogs, select ( Activate default Layout) > press ( Add Block) from the side page, then select (blog) from the dropdown list. 

Select (Important Blogs) block and drag it to the location where you want it to be displayed. 

The location can be edited at any time by dragging it to the new one. 

Status: it is used to make the content published or waiting for approval. To display the order, press “published” .

Publishing date: it is used to manage the content date that is shown on the website

Press (Submit) to add article, or (Reset) to re enter the data.
