What is Dimofinf Ping?

It's a monitoring program for our clients' websites that allows them to monitor their websites and have immediate alerts sent to their e-mails in case of any errors or faults on the website.

What is the program mechanism?

Dimofinf Ping depends on sending requests to the website web server; 'HTTP Request', and the website status is determined according to the web server response; 'HTTP Response'. If the 'Response Code' is 200 or 30X; of any kind, the website is classified as 'Active', otherwise, the website is considered 'Suspended' or 'Stopped' and an alert is sent to the client with the details.

1. Controlling the service through an easy-to-use graphic user interface (GUI) through the cPanel.

2. Monitoring main or secondary links on the website.

3. Monitoring done through HTTP Response Code.

4. E-mail alerts of website status.

5. Logs showing the website status throughout the month.

What are the supported hosting plans?

This program is available for all shared hosting plans through the cPanel. It can also be optionally activated for Advanced Management clients using dedicated and cloud server services.

How can I activate the service?

1. Sign in to the cPanel.

2. Choose 'Dimofinf Ping' from the 'Software/Services' block.

3. Enter the data to their designated fields

- E-mail: the e-mail to which alerts will be sent.

- URL's: links to be monitored. (These should be restricted to URL/links on your website).

4. Click 'Start'.

How can I deactivate the service?

1. Sign in to the cPanel.

2. Choose 'Dimofinf Ping' from the 'Software/Services' block.

3. Click 'Stop'.
