Blocks

  • From this option you can enable regular blocks (Dimofinf Blocks)

You can download the block you want from the following link:

https://www.dimofinf.net/downloads.php?action=displaycat&catid=4&language=English

Download the file to your machine, unzip it, you will find a directory, inside it a file with php extension, upload this file by ftp in binary format to the directory “blocks

 

  • To add the block to the control panel follow the path:

Styles & Blocks > Blocks > Add

Fill out the form with suitable data as follows:

  1. Type the block name that will appear in the control panel.
  2. Title: It appears in the block head when displayed in the site interface, leave it empty for the block head does not show up.
  3. Block Header Background: In case you choose an image it will appear in the block top.
  4. Block Place: Choose where to display the block (Left the home page, Right the home page or Center of the home page).
  5. Order: Choose the order of block display

For example:

You installed “Prayers times” block and “Proverbs” block, and you wants to display Prayers times on top and below it Proverbs, here you should set the order of Prayers times block = 1

And the order of Proverbs block = 2

  1. Content: In case you didn’t upload a block file, or if the block needs file and content.
  2. Block file: Allows you to choose one of the available blocks from the blocks directory, sometimes you need block content and also a ready block depending on the block mechanism.
  3. State: You can enable or disable the block from this option.

Press “Submit” to create the block.          

 

  • Enable blocks that contains php file and image directory
  1. Download the block you want, unzip it, you will find a directory, inside it you will find a file with php extension, upload this file by ftp in binary format to the directory “blocks
  2. The image directory is uploaded by ftp to the directory “blocks/image

Create the directory if needed and place the image directory in it.

 

  • Enable blocks that contains html code

To add it, follow the path:

Styles & Blocks > Blocks > Add

  1. Type the block name
  2. Title: Leave it empty for not showing the block head
  3. block header background if you wish
  4. Choose where to display the block
  5. Type the block code in “block contents” and don’t choose any file name from the menu otherwise the block will not work
  6. Choose “On” to enable the block

Press “Submit” to add the block
