What is Dimofinf Files Monitor?

 

Dimofinf Files Monitor Program is a system that allows Dimofinf customers to monitor all files and folders of their hosting accounts.

 

Properties and Features:

 

  1. Controlling the program through an easy graphical interface using (cPanel).
  2. The ability to add the paths of the files and folders to be monitored, or monitor the whole account.
  3. The ability to exclude paths of files and folders from monitoring system.
  4. Supporting paths monitoring in (Recursive) mood.
  5. Messaging via email in case there is any change made to files.

 

What is alert system?

 

The program sends messages to the client’s email, which is registered in the program when there is any of the following changes:

 

  • Adding a file or a folder
  • Deleting a file or a folder
  • Updating files
  • Changing names of files or folders
  • Changing permissions of files or folders

What are the supported hosting plans?

 

Monitoring system is provided through (cPanel) for all customers who have shared hosting unlimited plans in Dimofinf. It can be also activated optionally for cloud and dedicated servers customers who have advanced management services and use cPanel.

 

 

How can I activate the system?

 

  1. Login to your cPanel.
  2. Choose (Dimofinf Files Monitor) from (Security) block.dimofinf_monitor_app_icon
  3. Fill in the form with the required data as follows:
  • Email: The email you want to receive the alerts on.
  • Directory Paths: The paths you want to monitor, for example:

/dimcp

/index.php

/styles

Note: If you want to monitor all account contents, just type /. In addition, please always make sure that the entered paths are correct because if the paths are wrong, the program won’t receive the entered values.

  • Exclude Paths: The paths you want to exclude from monitoring, for example: 

/contents 

except_directorys

 

4.Press the button (Start) to run the program, or press the button (Stop) to deactivate it.

Note: If your (Status) doesn’t change, please refresh the page and don’t press the button (Start) more than one time.

 

How can I deactivate the system?

 

  1. Login to your cPanel.
  2. Choose (Dimofinf Files Monitor) from (Security) block.dimofinf_monitor_app_icon
  3. Press the button (Stop).

Note: If your (Status) doesn’t change, please refresh the page and don’t press the button (Stop) repeatedly.
