Problem in Uploading Files to Wordpress

Problem in Uploading Files to Wordpress

In this example the site path will be:

/home/user

And Wordpress path:

home/user/public_html/wordpress

Steps:

  • Login to your site using ftp and create a new directory with the name:

wptmp

so the path of the directory will be:

home/user/wptmp

  • Give the directory 777 permission.

  • Go to the original directory of wordpress which is in our example:

home/user/public_html/wordpress

  • Modify the file:

wp-config.php

by adding to it the following line:

define('WP_TEMP_DIR','/home/user/wptmp');

  • Save the file.

  • Also make sure to give 777 permission to the following directory:

home/user/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/
