Installing Dimofinf CMS on Local Server

                Explanation for installing Dimofinf CMS on local server


  1. Appserv-win32-2.5.10 or any other local server software.
  2. ioncube loaders file.
  3. ZendOptimizer-3.3.3
  4. Dimofinf CMS copy.
  5. Dimofinf CMS license.


  1. Install the local server.
  2. Install ioncube encryption software on the local server.
  3. Install Zend php optimizer on the local server.
  4. Change the Name Server of the local server.


  • Appserv Installation
  1. Download the program from here
  2. Press “Next

  1. Press “I Agree

  1. Choose the installation path (it is recommended to leave the default)

  1. Press “Next

  1. Type the data as in image after changing the email with yours.

  1. Type the password for MySQL Server.

  1. Wait for the installation to complete.

In case you got Windows Security Alert window press “Unblock

  1. Now we finished installing the local server press “Finish”


  • Zend Optimizer Installation
  1. Download Zend Optimizer from here
  2. Run the program then press “Next” to start installation.

  1. Check ”I accept the terms of the license agreement”, then press ”Next

  1. Press “Next” to continue the installation, It is recommended that you don’t change the installation path.

  1. Choose “Apache 2.x” (since this was the server we installed) press “Next
  2. In this step we choose the path of php.ini file (in our case it is C:WINDOWS) press “Next

  1. Choose the path of Apache (in our case it is C:AppservAppache2.2) press “Next

  1. This window is a summary for verifying all our choices, to start installation press “Install

  1. When the following window appears press “Yes” to continue installation.

  1. When the following window appears press “OK” to continue installation.

  1. Wait for the installation to complete and when it is done press “Finish


  • Ioncube Installation
  1. Download ioncube loader from here
  2. Unzip the file, you will find a file named “ioncube” paste it in “C:WINDOWS

Open the file “php.ini” which is located in “C:WINDOWS” and find the line

{* php buffer start *} zend_extension_ts "C:Program FilesZendZendOptimizer-3.3.0libZendExtensionManager.dll" 
{* php buffer end *}

Add after it the line

{* php buffer start *} zend_extension_ts "C:WINDOWSioncubeioncube_loader_win_5.2.dll" 
{* php buffer end *}


  • Change the Name Server for the local server
  1. Open hosts file located in “C:WINDOWSsystem32driversetc

          Preferably in “Notepad

  1. Look for the line

Add the following line, replacing “” with your licensed domain


  • Create the database
  1. Go to “phpmyadmin” from the path:


  1.  You will see the firewall you added in step 7 in local server installation, type the username and password.
  1.  After login, your “phpmyadmin” main page will be displayed.
  1. Create a new database as seen in the following image

  1. You will get a confirmation window showing that the database was created successfully



  • Setting steps

​- Open “include” directory look for the file “”, change the file name to “config.php” (i.e. delete the extension .new from the file name)

- Open the file “config.php” using any text editor and add the following lines to it

  1. The License Key

You can get your license key by pressing the “View data” icon besides “Dimofinf CMS : Owned License” in your control panel in Dimofinf site

from the path:

Dimofinf home > Client Area > My Products and Services

$setting['LicenseKey'] = '';

  1. Database server

Usually you don’t need to change it, it is only different in few hosting providers one of them is Godaddy

$setting['MasterServername'] = 'localhost';

  1. Database name

Replace the database name ‘dimofinf’ with the name of the database you created in “phpmyadmin

$setting['Databasename'] = 'dimofinf';

  1. Database username

Add the data you used in step 7 during the installation of the local server Appserv

$setting['MasterServerusername'] = 'root';

  1. Database password

Add the password of the new database you created in your site control panel.

$setting['MasterServerpassword'] = '';

  1. Save changes
  1. Upload the unzipped directory of Dimofinf CMS to your site, to the location in which you want to install Dimofinf CMS.


  • Installation Steps
  1. From the browser open the file “install.php” from the directory you uploaded Dimofinf CMS to

           For example:


  1. You will get the welcome message to start the installation of Dimofinf CMS
  2. Another message will appear to remind you to give the required permissions to the files (777)
  3. Follow the steps until you are requested to delete the directory “install” or change its name to be allowed to move to the next step.
  4. The next step you should type your manager’s login data (username and password) to the control panel.

With this you finished installing Dimofinf CMS on the local server.
