Managing Layouts



First: to view layouts:

To view and manage 'Layouts', please follow these steps: 

1. Sign in to the Administration Control Panel.
2. From the side menu, choose 'Styles and layouts' then 'Layouts' followed by 'View layouts'.

The layouts available on your website will appear as follows:

            

Second: to view a layout:

Click the Display button as in the following picture so that you would be able to view the layout on Dimofinf:

Third: to edit a layout:

Click the Edit button as in the following picture so that you would be able to fully edit the layout:

The chosen layout will be displayed as follows (the following image is a small part of the display layout as it is too big to display here):

1. Editable pages: the program main / home page and the inner pages. You can move through them by clicking on the page you wish to edit as in the following picture:

2. Devices you can create layouts for: the devices you can edit the layout for if the program finds that a user used one of them to access your website so that the display would be suitable for the device and screen size. You can move through them by clicking on the device you would like to edit the layout for as in the following picture:

3. Moving blocks: you can move blocks between display areas via (Drag and Drop) as in the following picture:

4. Managing display areas width: you can increase and decrease the display area as you wish as in the following picture:

5. Enable and disable blocks: allows you t enable and disable the display certain blocks as in the following picture:

6. Fixed display areas: allows you to fix the display area so that no other display area would be shown next to it and it would be shown in the entire display area  as in the following picture:

Fourth: Layouts management options: 

At the bottom of the layout editing page, some important options will appear as in the following picture:

These options are:

1. Save as: allows you to save the layout in another name so that you would be able to edit it. You can add the name to the name area next to the 'Save as' button.

2. Choose default: allows you to set the layout as the default layout for the program without needing to go back to the settings to do so.

3. Restore default: allows you to restore the layout to how it was before you edited it; it will be restored to how it was when the program was installed.

4. Use on a week day: this option lets you schedule the layout to be displayed on a certain day of the week at the time of your choice. After you click on it, the following Settings form will appear as in the next picture so that you could edit it and approve the scheduled task by clicking the 'Save' button.

5. Send: this is how you can save the changes you made to the layout.  

 

Fifth: Deleting layouts: 

To delete layouts, please follow the next steps: 

1. Sign in to the Administration Control Panel.
2. From the side menu, choose 'Styles and layouts' then 'Layouts' followed by 'View layouts'.

3. Click the 'Delete' button as in the following picture to be able to delete the layout.

4. A confirmation message will appear. Click 'Ok' if you would like to permanently delete the layout as in the next picture:
