Managing styles



First: Installing a new style:

 - Step 1:

1. Upload the styles folder as a whole to the 'Styles' folder among Dimofinf folders on your website in Binary form.
2. Grant the folder and the HTML files inside it the writing permissions 777 or 755 for severs working with the (PHP-cgi system) so that you can edit it.

 - Step 2:

1. Sign in to the Administration Control Panel.
2. From the side menu, choose the 'Styles & Layout' menu, then 'Styles' then click 'Add'.

The adding form will appear to you to fill the style details:

  

• Title: this will be the name that will appear on the homepage and in the control panel; in a language of your choice.
• Folder name: the Styles folder - this is where you add the name of the uploaded Styles folder as it is and you must make sure that it doesn't include any numbers or punctuation marks.
• Page width: the display percentage of the website pages relative to the whole website page width. For example: 1024px then you can set the page area to 90%. 
• Order: this allows you to control the styles display order.

Click 'Submit' and the style will be added to the available styles menu on your website.

3. To set the style as the default style, from the side menu choose 'Settings' then 'Dimofinf settings' followed by 'Language, Layouts and modules'. 
4. From 'Default style', choose the style you wish to set as the default. 


 

Second: Editing, deleting and viewing styles:

1. Sign in to the Administration Control Panel.
2. From the side menu, choose 'Templates and blocks' then 'Styles' and click 'View'.

Each style will be displayed with four icons next to it and they are as follows in the same order:

 Design: to view templates and edit them.
• View: to view the style directly on the website.
• Edit: to edit the styles names and settings.
• Delete: to completely delete the style.

   - Creating a new template:

1. Sign in to the Administration Control Panel.
2. From the side menu, choose 'Templates and blocks' then 'Styles' and click 'View' and select the style you would like to add the template to.
3. At the bottom of the page, click 'Design'. There is an option for creating a template. Write the name and click 'Submit' then write the template code. 

 


 

Third: Searching templates:

To search styles, follow the next steps:

1. Sign in to the Administration Control Panel.
2. From the side menu, choose 'Templates and blocks', then 'Styles' and click 'Search In Templates'. The following search form will appear:



• Search in style: choose the style you want to search in.
• Search for text: write the text you would like to search for in the styles specified earlier.
• Case sensitive: if you are sure that you will find the text you are looking for, choose 'Yes'. If you are not sure, choose 'No' so that all possibilities would be displayed.

3. If you would like to find and replace within templates, use the following search form:



• Search in style: choose the style you want to search in.
 Search for text: write the text you are searching for within the previously chosen style. 
• Replace with: write the replacing text.
• Case sensitive: if you are sure that you will find the text you are looking for, choose 'Yes'. If you are not sure, choose 'No' so that all possibilities would be displayed.
